Keemun Tea

Product description:

Known as the Burgundy of Teas and grown in the Chinese province of Anhui, Keemun brings a slightly smoky flavour with a delicate bouquet. A black tea that requires only a small amount to be brewed to produce the best flavour, it can be enjoyed with or without milk or lemon.

One of China's most well-known black teas, Keemun is a rare commodity in many areas, as it is so difficult for growers to produce. What they do produce though is magnificent, and we're truly lucky they put in the effort so we can enjoy the fruit of their looms.

The small, dainty leaves of the Keemun plant give a light brown hue when infused, and the flavour is best described as almost nutty or smokey, but at the same time light and smooth. A small amount of leaves are needed to make each brew, so use sparingly.
